This event marks the launch of the Imperial Global Science Policy Forum, a programme of globally relevant events connecting diplomats and leading researchers.
Our first science policy theme will be Smart Cities coinciding with United Nations World Cities Day.
The evening will commence with a short showcase of Imperial’s cutting-edge research on Smart Cities, and will be succeeded by a networking reception over canapés and wine bringing together diplomats, Imperial leading researchers, industry experts and UK government stakeholders.
Imperial is delighted to announce that our guest of honour and keynote speaker will be Theo Blackwell, the newly appointed Chief Digital Officer in the Mayor of London’s team. https://www.london.gov.uk/press-releases/mayoral/mayor-appoints-chief-digital-officer
