Combined Attaché Ball raises record funds for service charities
This year the Combined Attaché Ball, organised by the Air Attaché Association under the guidance of Capt Peter Wood of Australia, raised a staggering £30,000 for charity. A cheque of £10,000 each was handed to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity and the Soldiers’ Charity.
Congratulations to the defence attaché and adviser community who donated so generously, and a big thank you to the Ball’s cash sponsors: Finmeccanica, Thales, BAE Systems, BMW International and Diplomatic Sales, World Fuel Services, Chacalli de Decker, Chemring Group, Ultra Electronics, General Dynamics UK, EADS, MLS (Multinational Logistics Services) and MBDA.
