Helen and Paul Gardner (Chacalli De Decker) have a laugh with Artem Seliverstov (Russia)

The event was very well organised and ran very smoothly from start to finish. A pleasure to deal with the Embassy team once again. We look forward to the next event.

Pre-election Expo draws crowds
Protocol officers and private secretaries seized the chance to prepare for a post-election rush of VIP visits at the Embassy Event Expo with talks and an engaging Q&A with the FCO’s Protocol Directorate. Business briefings from the UKTI and a presentation from the National Museums Directors’ Council helped trade and cultural attachés to start preparations for major business and cultural events for the next three years. Diplomats also had the opportunity meet key contacts with event suppliers who were offering discounts on the day.

The lively event concluded with a wine reception and bonanza prize draw.
