Admired ex-diplomat killed in Beligian terror attacks

As flags flew at half mast across London in solidarity with the Belgian Embassy following the terror attacks in Brussels, diplomats mourned the loss of one of their own, former Belgian Ambassador to the UN André Adam. Adam’s eventful career started in Cuba, followed by Paris during the 1968 protests, London during The Troubles, Kinshasha under Mobuto and Algeria at the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, finishing in New York.
