AERL visits Bank of England

London’s economic attachés were given a privileged tour of the Bank of England in the City and learned about the fascinating history of the ‘Old Lady of Threadneedle Street’ founded in 1694.

They visited several of the Bank’s famous rooms, including where the Monetary Policy Committee and the new Financial Policy Committee make their deliberations.
