A flavour of Argentina

The beautiful Argentine Residence on Belgrave Square overflowed with guests as VIPS from the world of diplomacy, politics, business and culture all crowded in to meet Ambassador Alicia Castro, Argentina’s first Ambassador to the UK in a number of years. Arriving in London on the 30th Anniversary of the Falklands/Malvinas War, the outspoken Ambassador has wasted no time making her mark in London, campaigning for a negotiated settlement to Argentina’s claim to the Islands. But there is a lot more to Argentina as guests discovered when they were treated to a moving rendition of the National Anthem as well as some
of the finest wine and produce the South American country has to offer.
