Cambridges pay respects to Orlando victims
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the US Embassy to sign a book of condolence in memory of the 49 people murdered in the Orlando gay nightclub massacre. A flag given to Hillary Clinton by The Kaleidoscope Trust, a global LGBT rights organisation, was draped behind the condolence book.
The Royal couple met with Ambassador Matthew Barzun and spoke to members of the State Department’s LGBT network. It was later revealed that Prince William would make history as the first Royal to feature in a gay lifestyle magazine, Attitude.
