Staff at the Cameroon High Commission
They say life begins after 40 and that certainly applies to Cameroon, as the High Commissioner for Cameroon Mr Nkwelle Ekaney explained at his country’s 41st Anniversary of Independence. Outlining achievements since Cameroon turned 40, the High Commissioner pointed to Senate elections – for the first time in history – a growing economy (at an enviable 5 per cent), inflation down and an ambitious programme of investment in energy, mining, agriculture and infrastructure, all forming a backdrop to the upcoming Cameroon-UK Joint Commission.
