EU Ambassadors gathered at Europe House to join Ambassador Igor Pokaz to toast the historic start of Croatia’s Presidency – the first presidency of the EU’s newest member.

Taking place in the eve of Brexit day, the event made history for another reason as it was the last EU presidency launch hosted by an EU embassy in London, after which Europe House will become the EU Delegation.

Guests enjoyed an exhibition in the 12 Star Gallery by Croatian sculptor and painter Vasko Lipovac whose whimsical works of sailors and lovers evoke the beauty, romance and playfulness of Croatia’s mesmerising seaside.
