Education conference scores top marks
Education attachés at London’s diplomatic mission seized the opportunity to meet representatives from over 40 of the UK’s top universities, colleges and schools at the first-ever Embassy Education Conference.
Held at the stunning Royal College of Physicians overlooking Regent’s Park, delegates heard presentations from education experts including Dr John Law, Higher Education adviser at the British Council, Nicola Dandridge, chief executive of Universities UK and David Rose, head teacher at the North London International School. Consuls who look after students also heard briefings from Jeremy Oppenheim, head of Tier 4 migration at the UK Border Agency as well as Dominic Scott, chief executive of the UK Council for International Student Affairs. The day ended with a networking wine reception and tour of the Royal College of Physicians historic collection
