EU Migrants brace for hard Brexit

Diplomats are urging their nationals to collect all documentation needed to prove their residency in case of a hard Brexit.

Swedish Ambassador Torbjörn Sohlström advised concerned Swedes in London to apply immediately for permanent residency (PR) if they met the requirements.

EU consuls report waiting times of up to eight months for PR applications and a high rejection rate. “It’s administrative terrorism,” one EU consul told Embassy.
