Iran to re-open embassy soon

Iran and the UK will reopen embassies in both countries in the near future, the Iranian non-resident chargé, Mohammad Hassan Habibollahzadeh announced.

Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Sir Richard Ottaway welcomed the move, saying the UK sought “a mature and constructive relationship with Iran” but added that the two countries would have to overcome “years of a lack of trust”.
