Libyan PM lays wreath at memorial to murdered PC

Libya’s interim prime minister Abdurrahim El-Keib has laid a wreath at the spot where PC Yvonne Fletcher was shot dead – allegedly by someone inside the Libyan Embassy – in London in April 1984.
PC Fletcher, 25, was shot while policing a protest against the Muammar Gaddafi regime at the Libyan Embassy in St James’s Square.
Mr El-Keib told Prime Minister David Cameron the Fletcher case was “close to [his] heart” and promised cooperation with UK investigators.
