Paradise party
The High Commissioner for Mauritius Mr Girish Nunkoo and his wife Bibi are legendary on the London diplomatic circuit for their hospitality, and to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the Independence of Mauritius, they made sure to give guests a taste of the Indian Ocean paradise. Sipping tropical cocktails and swaying in time with the Tropical Flowers Sega dancers – a troupe of British-Mauritian dancers – diplomats and friends of Mauritius got into the spirit of things as excitement built towards the prize draw where one lucky guest won a trip to the tropical island to experience a slice of heaven on earth.
