It was a full house as a large contingent
of ambassadors, politicians and business people crowded into the historic Turkish Residence on Portland Place to congratulate Ambassador Unal Cevikoz and his wife Emel on Turkey’s 89th Republic Day anniversary. Guests mingled over mezze, catching up on the latest developments in the Middle East and North Africa where neighbouring Turkey is playing an increasingly prominent role.
