Turkish Embassy slams racist leaflet

The Turkish Embassy has complained to the FCO over a British National Party election campaign leaflet which claims the UK would be “swamped by 80 million low paid Muslim Turks’ if Turkey was accepted into the EU. An Embassy spokesperson told the Sunday Times the leaflet was “racist and highly inflammatory.”
