Members of the Women in Diplomatic Service were recently guests of Her Majesty’s Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps, Charles Gray CMG, at St James’s Palace when he explained his unique role. It was a most interesting and informative talk and it generated many questions about his links with Buckingham Palace and with the Sovereign herself giving a special insight into the special relationship between Her Majesty and Ambassadors in London.
