The Embassy Event Expo is tailored exclusively for staff in London’s diplomatic and defence attaché community, as well as officials at international organisations, who are involved in organising their events and visits programme – from VIP and working visits to National Day and Armed Forces Day receptions, gala dinners, cultural events, parliamentary, defence and trade delegations and investment conferences.
Diplomatic spouses involved with programmes for visiting VIP spouses are also welcome.
In the Devo-Diplomacy Session, this year the spotlight will fall on Northern Ireland as Belfast hosts the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in 2026, the world’s biggest celebration of Irish music and culture, plus important Northern Ireland Assembly elections take place in 2027 and the 30th Anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement will be celebrated in 2028. There will be briefings on VIP, Trade, Cultural and Education delegations to Northern Ireland.
The event is free to attend for staff at diplomatic missions and international organisations but registration is essential.
