The Embassy Long Service Officer of the Year Award is intended to give due recognition to the work of locally employed officers who have given exemplary service to their diplomatic missions over many years.
Dedicated long service officers will be celebrated at the Embassy Long Service Awards Ceremony on the evening of Monday 1 June 2026 at the Royal Garden Hotel.
Regional Winners will be chosen from the list of nominees below put forward by their diplomatic missions, by the diplomatic community and a judging panel.
Voting for the Overall Winner will take place from 10.00 – 16.30 on 1 June, via an online ballot, and will be selected from the Regional Winners.
Voting Procedure
- Voting for the Regional Winners of the Embassy Long Service Awards is open now
- Only diplomats and local staff working at diplomatic missions or international organisations are eligible to vote
- Voters must state their name and diplomatic mission and use their official government, diplomatic mission or international organisations email to vote. Votes via private emails will not be valid
- Voters may only vote once
- Voters can vote for one nominee per region. Testimonials provided by the nominees can be accessed here
- Regional Voting closes on Monday 18 May 2026 at 17.00
- Regional winners will be submitted to the Long Service Judging panel to rank their choice of overall winner
