AERL visits Olympic Park hubs
Economic attachés visited the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London to learn how the media centre of the 2012 Olympic Games has been transformed into a technology and learning hub.
AERL members received a presentation about HereEast, which brings together top universities, such as UCL and Loughborough, technology giants, focusing on robotics and sport science, start-ups and cultural institutions.
Attachés went on a guided tour of Plexal, an innovation incubator at HereEast, from the CEO Claire Cockerton who explained the support services it offers to help entrepreneurs bring their ideas to market.
