The Embassy Consular Conference aims to help consuls help their citizens. It examines the challenges facing consular, visa, passport, welfare, immigration, legal and police liaison officers and explores ways to meet these challenges. Now in its 11th year, attracting 180 consuls from 80+ missions, the conference is a chance to understand policy and procedure and share best practice with fellow consuls and experts.
The conference will include a Keynote Address from the Minister of State for Border Security and Asylum Rt Hon Anna Turley MP and will conclude with the presentation of the Consul of the Year Award for 2026, recognising the exemplary work of consuls in serving their citizens.
