Embassy Events Expo 2013 Review
Time for business
Record numbers of diplomats attended the fifth annual Embassy Event Expo at Central Hall Westminster, the site of the first-ever meeting of the United Nations – attracting more than double the 51 nations represented at that first meeting. An event dedicated to busy events planners and visits officers at London’s missions, it was a chance to network with event experts to plan their programmes. With the upcoming G8 Summit in June, business, trade and VIP visits were the focus of the workshops and two new networks were also launched: a Protocol Discussion Group and the Cultural Attaché Network.
