This week, 1000+ delegates are gathering for the 22nd Intersessional Working Group on Reduction of #GreenhouseGasEmissions from Ships (ISWG-GHG 22), in London 1-4 September to continue discussions around new IMO #regulations to cut carbon emissions from international shipping .
My farewell message as EU Ambassador to the United Kingdom.
It's a huge privilege to take on the role of Foreign Office Minister leading the FCDO's work on Europe, international security, defence & growth. Britain's interests can only be served by close partnership with our European allies & I'm hugely looking forward to the work ahead.
