IS20 eForum - Introduction to Consular/Home Affairs

The Consular eForum offers an introductory overview to important areas of consular work in the UK. Participants will receive briefings on immigration, citizenship and passports; cross-border crime and foreign prisoners; consular assistance including consular emergencies, international family cases and bereavement. Participants will hear from expert panellists from the Home Office, HM Passport Office, Ministry of Justice, Met Police Family Liaison Officer (embedded in FCDO Crisis Centre), National Police Chiefs Council, as well as legal and repatriation specialists.
