A host with the most
The diplomatic community showed up in force to support its hugely popular Dean, the Ambassador of Kuwait Khaled Al Duwaisan, at this year’s Kuwait National Day. As has become the norm, the Ambassador of Kuwait rolled out the red carpet, treating guests to everything from a seafood spread and a carvery serving a Middle Eastern feast, to an ice cream counter and juice bar. With the guest list including peers and parliamentarians, ambassadors and senior civil servants, this year’s event was not just a memorable celebration of Kuwait’s independence but a tribute to London’s most admired diplomat.
