A taste of Kuwait
The tireless Ambassador of Kuwait and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps Khaled Al Duwaisan was all smiles as he welcomed peers, ambassadors and civil servants in their droves to his country’s National Day in February. As has become the norm, Ambassador Al Duwaisan made sure it would be a day to remember.
Guests were met by a team of tea pourers providing a taste of the Middle East before moving on to a mouthwatering spread including a carvery, a wide range of seafood and, for those with a sweet tooth, an ice cream counter and colourful cakes for desert.
A joyous occasion that from start to finish it was simply the best way to celebrate Kuwait’s independence and one of London’s most beloved diplomats.
